Modern technology is simply an advancement of old technology, the impact of technology in modern life is unmeasurable, we use technology in different ways and sometimes the way we implement various technologies ends up harming our lives or the society we leave in. What we call modern technology is technically not so new in most cases. The advancement of Science and technology allow mass communication today so that we not only have the television, radio and newspaper, but even mobile phones which renders a multipurpose service; from long distance calls, listening to radio and music, playing games, taking pictures, recording voice and video, and browsing the internet.
I was extremely glad to hear that at least one viable method of implementation of such technologies was mentioned in the Panel, even in a context slightly different than the one currently under discussion, which was profit for Corporations, instead of supply of innovative technology to all social groups.
IPTV is yet another modern technology which is all around us, usually without us knowing it. This technology is employed in lots of ways, one example is for sending video information over a high speed broadband internet connection, IPTV is the technology that drives the BBC’s iPlayer.
This automation technology is creating wonders in the industrial sectors too, such as business, hospitality ones and so on. Various numbers of technologies along with highly effective and efficient modern characteristic aspects are managing to bring into a much welcomed change in the same old ways of lives.
Using modern techniques to pass on traditional wisdom has been quite effective in these situations, and entire online communities have sprouted up around many of them, giving people from all walks of life a safe and productive online environment in which to grow, learn, and even meet others of the same faith.
